Urban Blogs About Baby "Bliss"

Nashville's recent Urban development is making at least two residents very happy.

New proud papa Keith Urban has posted a message on his site, saying he and wife Nicole Kidman are experiencing "pure bliss" in the wake of the birth of their firstborn last week.

"It's been 10 days since the birth of our beautiful new daughter, Sunday Rose, and like any of you who are parents yourselves, we're experiencing the pure bliss of welcoming her into our lives," Urban wrote.

"We're all doing superbly well and we continue to be absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and well wishes we are receiving. Thank you all for your beautiful notes and prayers."

The couple, who have yet to release pictures of their child but who reportedly plan to do so free of charge, have been keeping a low profile since Sunday's birth (on a Monday), only popping up this week in paparazzi shots taken at a Nashville mattress store.

Urban, however, is ready for his jump back into the limelight—in part, he said, because it will mark yet another first in his life.

"I can't wait for Saturday night's stadium show in Philadelphia, my first gig as a father!" he wrote. "See you there. Love, Keith."
