You've got to be quick to keep up with the Kardashians. Khloé Kardashian's brief yet slightly eventful incarceration has come to a close.

While originally sentenced to 30 days behind bars for violating probation on a DUI charge, the reality star, like so many before her, has been released early from Lynwood's Century Regional Detention Center after serving just a few hours.

Kardashian was released at 1:29 p.m., bringing her total time in custody to four hours and 37 minutes.

Her extraordinarily early release can be credited to the facility's vast overcrowding, a correctional issue that also befitted past inmates Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan, who logged a paltry 82 and 84 minutes at the facility, respectively.

As for the 24-year-old clothing boutique owner, she was taken into custody at 8:45 a.m. Friday and officially booked at 8:52 a.m.—after a sendoff befitting her camera-ready roots, with sisters Kim and Kourtney and mom Kris Jenner accompanying her to the Van Nuys courthouse.

"You never want this to happen to your child," an emotional Jenner told E! News at the time.

On the other hand, if it is going to happen, it's best to keep the time frame down to a minimum, something Jenner apparently had a suspicion would happen to her daughter.

"Soon, I think," she told E! News, when asked about Khloé's release date.

And how.

Brief though Kardashian's stay was, however, it was not entirely without drama.

Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed to E! News that just before Kardashian was admitted to the facility, a bomb threat was called in.

"It had nothing to do with her," he said. "It was a hoax. They locked down the jail like they do when any other building has this type of activity. They cleared the scene, and the lockdown was removed."

Kardashian was sentenced to the monthlong stay behind bars on July 3, when her attorney admitted in court that she had completed neither the alcohol-education program nor the 36 months' probation and community service that was mandated as part of her DUI sentence. Kardashian pleaded no contest to driving under the influence back in March 2007.
