It used to take years for a song to reluctantly go from single to commercial jingle (just ask Led Zeppelin).
But why bother waiting around to do that when you can simply do both simultaneously?
As part of Hayden Panettiere's second go-around as spokesbabe for Candie's, everybody's favorite indestructible cheerleader has agreed to allow "Wake Up Call," her first-ever tune, to be used in a new back-to-school TV commercial, in which the actress will also appear.
No, that last paragraph wasn't just one big typo.
Like so many of her female acting contemporaries, the Heroes starlet has taken the first step to becoming a multihyphenate by stepping into a recording studio. Starting up a clothing line or opening up a restaurant surely can't be far behind, right?
