Or maybe he just wanted a break from spending all that time with cars (and the pesky transforming kind at that).

Hollywood It boy Shia LaBeouf hit the pavement over the weekend on his Triumph motorcycle, because, admit it, there's nothing quite as exhilarating as cruising down an open road—or, at least, successfully weaving in and out of L.A. traffic—with the feel of a roaring engine between your legs.

Then again, strapping on a helmet and going a little hog wild may just be another one of those Tinseltown trends.

Well, even if that's the case, we still think the celebs in our Easy Riders: Stars on Bikes gallery are pretty cool regardless.
