Thomas Jane Cuts a DUI Deal

Thomas Jane was sentenced to a year's probation Wednesday after pleading no contest in Shafter, Calif., to a solo count of driving under the influence stemming from his March 11 arrest during a traffic stop.
The Punisher star must also pay about $1,700 in fines and attend two alcohol-education classes.
In exchange for copping to misdemeanor DUI, Kern County authorities agreed to drop charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and driving with a blood-alcohol level higher than 0.08 percent.
Jane, 39, is now also off the hook for two speeding tickets issued at separate times in March prior to his arrest.
