Who looks fine, and who should be fined?

Coldplay's Stitch Sitch: Say What?! Sew What?!

The whole stars-getting-their-own-fashion-lines thing is way out of control. (Hello, LiLo, L.C., J.T., Posh, Diddy et al.)

But there are some celebs who might actually deserve it. Case in point, the lads of Coldplay, who have discovered that the band that sews together, rock 'n' rolls together. Frontman Chris Martin tells the U.K.'s Mirror that sewing is what keeps the group so tight-knit.

"Making clothes together in our studio makes us feel complete. We probably sound like a group of grannies in a knitting circle, but it's the truth, and it gives us some control over our visual identity."

And while other rock 'n' roll bands immediately devour the minibar or trash their hotel rooms on tour, Coldplay has other check-in priorities: "We see if they have a sewing kit in the amenities drawer in case we feel inspired," says Martin.

"When you are a big band and everyone is taking shots at you, the more things you can do together the better. And if you're wearing uniforms made by your own hands it helps achieve that."

That being said, we'd love to hear the band do a cover version of Neil Young's "The Needle and the Damage Done." We're sure they'd bring a unique perspective.
