Alex Trebek definitely faced some jeopardy today. But he's lived to query again.

A rep for the game-show guru confirms to E! News that Trebek snapped his Achilles tendon (ouch!) this morning after chasing a would-be thief from his hotel room.

So who dare burgle the Great Trebek?

A 56-year-old woman.

Lucinda Moyers has been booked for felony burglary and possession of stolen property after allegedly entering the Jeopardy! host's San Francisco hotel room around 3 a.m., according to local police.

She is accused of swiping cash and jewelry (reportedly a bracelet given to him by his mom) from the room before Trebek gave chase. Authorities say she stashed the loot near an ice machine as she fled.

Moyers remains jailed on $165,000 bail.

Ever the touper, Trebek was back on his feet, with the aid of crutches, and hosting the National Geographic World Championship later in the day.
