An image of Justin Bieber alone is enough to send tween girls into cardiac arrest. But Bieber singing Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River"? That just makes them go insane.

The Biebs surprised the screaming fans at Selena Gomez's warm-up concert in Costa Mesa, Calif., with an impromptu performance this weekend. And truthfully, we're not surprised. It's not as though Justin and Selena have been exactly subtle about flaunting their young love.

So, we know that you hard-core Jelena fans are just begging to know if there is a joint tour in the works for the lovebirds:

Don't get too excited, Beliebers. It turns out Justin's cameo was a one-night only affair.

A source tells E! News that Justin's surprise appearance was a "one-time thing" and there aren't any plans for him to pop up on any other of Selena's future tour dates. Double rats.

And even though Justin is no stranger to the "unannounced" appearance (the MTV Movie Awards, hello!), it appears that this news is indeed true. This morning Selena caught a flight to sunny Florida where her 30-stop North American tour will start. Sadly, her well-tressed arm candy was no where in sight.

But, Biebs, we must ask, why did you choose "Cry Me a River" out of the many memorable and jam-worthy songs Justin Timberlake has in his repertoire? As you may remember, "Cry Me a River" was J.T.'s response to his breakup with Brit. Is there something you're trying to say to say to Ms. Gomez?

Well, we hope Jelena doesn't go the same way as Brit and Justin. We would miss getting bombarded by pictures of them swapping spit all the time.
