The world according to Paris Hilton's stalker is a world apparently free from personal responsibility.

Following his third attempt at breaking into the heiress' various properties in the past year—his latest effort occurred over Fourth of July weekend—36-year-old James Rainford shocked no one today by pleading not guilty to the litany of charges he's racked up.

Which, for those keeping track at home, are two counts of felony stalking and three counts of misdemeanor disobeying a court order—the latter charges owing to his persistence at trying to contact Hilton despite a restraining order against him. Lest we forget, this life winner who can't seem to take a hint is also the man who attacked Paris' ex Cy Waits outside a courthouse earlier this year.

He remains in jail on $150,000 bail and is due back in court July 26. In the meantime, Hilton's rumored new beau, Hangover 2 director Todd Phillips, might want to brush up on his fighting skills. You know. Just in case.
