It's been a long road from the Sorcerer's Stone to this point, but only one person can tell us what that journey has been like for Harry Potter: Daniel Radcliffe himself.

E! News' Ben Lyons and Ashlan Gorse caught up with the star on the red carpet of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere in New York, and he dished about what a crazy experience the last 10 years as The Boy Who Lived have been.

When shown a picture of himself from the premiere of the first Harry Potter flick way back in 2001, Daniel joked, "I look basically the same. I'm a little taller but not much. I'm essentially him but with a slightly deeper voice. Thank god, because otherwise I'd still be sounding like I was on helium."

Puberty and its effects aside, Daniel went on to speak of the remarkable bond he has with costars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint: "Just as no one quite knows what it's like to be part of an individual family, no one quite knows what it's like to go through this mad, surreal journey of Potter. So, we will always have that bond," he gushed about their sibling-like relationship.
