Let the Beyoncé bump watch begin.

The "Run the World (Girls)" singer is opening up about family—babies specifically, in this exclusive peek at a new interview to air on the Ovation network, saying that she could have a little bun in the oven with hubby Jay-Z within the year.

So what are her plans for a family?

OK, OK, just to be clear—she did say it could happen in a year. Not that it definitely would.

"It could happen in a year, it could happen in five years," said the gorgeous singer (who brought down the house closing the Glastonbury music festival). "But I'm in no rush."

So the "Single Ladies" songstress—whose new album 4 drops today—doesn't constantly have babies on the brain. But she does think family is important and says she really will have one of her own.

"I do think family is important," she said. "I grew up with both of my parents and with my sister and my cousin and Kelly [Rowland]...there was always a lot of love in my house, so I want the same thing."

The interview is part of a three-week series called American Revolutionaries: The Hitmakers that will include documentaries on Bruce Springsteen, Madonna and Elvis Presley.

Beyoncé's episode is scheduled to air July 16.
