So True? So False? Is Donald Trump Really Earning $160 Million for The Apprentice?!

Rumor has it real-estate mogul just became the highest-paid star in all of reality TV after a substantial raise from NBC. But is it true?

So what makes a person opt to stay on as host of a reality show instead of throwing his hat in the ring as possible leader of the free world? $160 million, that's what.

At least, that's what the new round of rumors would have us believe, as the New York Post claimed this week that Donald Trump has become the highest-paid star in all of reality TV after scoring a, well, Trump-sized raise that has him personally banking a whopping $65 million for the next two seasons of The Apprentice (the rest is reportedly lining the pockets of coproducer Mark Burnett).

But the question remains, can he afford to fix his hair now does Ryan Seacrest know about this could it possibly be true?

Hold onto your comb-overs, because this rumor is...

So false!

NBC wasted no time in denying the report, saying that while Trump and Burnett have indeed signed back on for two more seasons of reality shenanigans, Trump shouldn't start stocking up on "Highest-Paid Reality TV Star" mugs just yet.

"The financial information reported today in regards to The Celebrity Apprentice is grossly inaccurate and has been significantly overstated," the network said.

"While it is our policy to keep financial information strictly confidential, neither the production costs of the show nor what Mr. Trump makes personally is in the realm of reality."

In other words, that's not just a no. That's a hell no.
