It was only a matter of time.

Trouble-prone Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has revealed she plans to enter a rehab facility in California in the wake of her suicide attempt last week.

Here's hoping she gets the help she needs.

"I am going to rehab for anger control issues and depression," the 21-year-old Portwood confirmed to Star. "I'm on medication at the moment and to just help me relax. I'm in a vulnerable state right now and I know people want a lot of answers."

The reality trainwreck was hospitalized on June 14 after some kind of confrontation with estranged baby daddy Gary Shirley.

Concerned about her state of mind, Shirley asked his mom to check on Portwood, who was found semiconscious in her Indiana home with some sort of cord around her neck.

Portwood eventually regained consciousness and admitted to taking pills. Her brother, Shawn Portwood, later told E! News that part of what led to her breakdown was Gary being "verbally abusive" and threatening to take their 2-year-old daughter, Leah, away from her.

Two weeks earlier, Portwood pleaded guilty to felony domestic battery stemming from her vicious beatdown of the 300-pound Shirley last year, a crime for which she received two years' probation.

No word when she'll start her stint in rehab, but Amber added that she plans to undergo intensive therapy as well.

"Before I go to California, I'm pursuing help with a psychiatrist," she told the magazine.

Portwood is the second Teen Mom fixture to seek treatment in recent months. Costar Jenelle Evans, involved in her own fair share of criminal cases, has been in a Malibu-based facility for several weeks.
