Which is why, one week after he was the victim of Crystal Harris' jilting, and just two days after his would-be wedding date came and went, the erstwhile bachelor has found a new No. 1 girlfriend (and yes, that's No. 1 as in he still has multiple…funny Crystal didn't want to marry into that).
And much like the girls who came before her, she's not exactly controversy-free. So who is she?
A Playboy insider tells E! News that Hef's new top gal is none other than Miss January 2011, Anna Sophia Berglund. So where's the controversy? Right here: until recently (we're guessing very, very recently), Anna was Crystal's best friend.
It should come as a surprise to no one (he's a legendary lothario for a reason, people), the relationship isn't exactly new.
An insider tells E! News that Hef and Anna have been having, well, relations for some time, including throughout his engagement to Crystal, albeit with her full knowledge.
As the insider so delicately put it: "Hef was boning Anna the whole time," meaning that the duo had been getting it on for at least six months.
Of course, as Anna—whom, somewhat ironically, became a Playmate after Crystal pushed for her inclusion in the magazine to Hef—moves into the top of the rotation, it leaves an opening or two at the bottom.
But no need to send in your headshots just yet, ladies.
A source says that the Shannon twins (remember them?!) have moved back into the Bunny House directly across from the mansion. So much for being irreplaceable, eh?
