Sit down or be in danger of getting swept away.

A Madonna fan site (and it obviously takes its Madge news very seriously) is reporting that the Truth or Dare star will be the next performer to sit in the lukewarm seat on Inside the Actors Studio opposite the relentlessly serious James Lipton.

"Madonna" doesn't exactly leap to our minds when we hear the term "revered thespian," but then again, the Bravo show isn't exactly all Morgan Freeman and Meryl Streep these days. Guests in recent years have included Katie Holmes, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Rosie O'Donnell and Jennifer Lopez. You know, famous people who do things.

With that in mind, go ahead and set your DVRs, because this story is...

So false!

"There is no truth to this," a rep for Bravo tells E! News. "However, we are happy to announce that our next taping is with Jennifer Aniston. This episode will air in early July on Bravo."

What do you know, just in time for Horrible Bosses' theatrical release on July 8! Now there's a coincidence.

But judging by the list of actors, filmmakers and musicians that have already made it to Inside the Actors Studio, we doubt that Madonna won't be in the mix sometime, especially now that she has a second feature film under her belt as a director.

Meaning, we'll finally know what the "Like a Prayer" singer hopes God says to her when she meets him at the pearly gates!

MadonnaTribe.com had linked her supposed appearance on the show to promotion for her new movie W.E., which focuses on a romance in the present day juxtaposed with the '30s-era love affair between the Duke of Windsor (you know, the brother in The King's Speech) and American divorcée Wallis Simpson.

But the pop icon's body of evidence, er, work will just have to wait.
