Like Posh, the actress is petite and pretty fabulous...a good choice, right?!

This could make for one posh christening.

Rumor has it that the very pregnant Victoria Beckham has asked Eva Longoria to be godmother to her fourth child (and first daughter!) with hubby David Beckham.

First off, yes, these two are friends! The trendsetters have not only shared red-carpet space since meeting several years ago, but they reportedly became close pals when Beckham offered a shoulder to cry on when Longoria's marriage to Tony Parker was breaking up.

Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz couldn't be jealous of their sister, considering they've already got godparents in Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley. So hang onto your size-0 maternity wear, kids, because this rumor is...

So false!

A rep for Beckham tells Britain's Daily Mail that a story in The Sun naming Longoria as godmother has missed the mark, adding that the family has not extended a godparent invite nor do they have christening plans for their new arrival at this time.

Beckham is currently eight months along, even though you could barely tell her tummy was rounder in the black dress she wore to the royal wedding in late April.

Speaking of which, the Mail also reports that the Beckhams (who apparently prefer Brits, anyway) have thought of asking Prince William and Kate Middleton to be godparents, along with mere mortals like Heidi Klum and Seal or Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana.

And we thought Longoria would make a fashionable choice!
