File this one under Life's Not Fair.

Two years ago, Candy Spelling put the 4.7-acre Holmby Hills home belonging to her and her legendary late hubby, Aaron Spelling, on the market for $150 million (you really can't put a price on your own personal gift wrap room).

Today, the palatial estate (actually, it puts most palaces to shame) is reportedly in escrow, after the 22-year-old heiress daughter of a British billionaire put in a bid to buy the place. And yeah, we said 22, people.

So who is she? And what did she end up paying for the infamously most expensive residential property in the country?

We'll answer the second question first: well, $150 million, presumably.

No man may be an island, but this woman is—despite economic downturns and real estate dips throughout the rest of the home-buying world, Candy has refused to slash the price of the property that's been dubbed "The Manor." However, no final sales figures have yet been disclosed, so it's unclear if she did relent in the end.

In any case, Spelling is still living large, having recently downsized into a $35 million 15,555-square-foot penthouse in Century City.

So who put up the money for the pad?

That'd be Formula One (it's like Euro-NASCAR, albeit with fancier accents and more hair gel) heiress Petra Ecclestone, the daughter of billionaire racing boss Bernie Ecclestone.

She's tying the knot in August and afterwards, she and her soon-to-be hubby, entrepreneur James Stunt, will split their time between her $90 million London townhouse and Los Angeles.

So yes, the $150 million abode is her second home. Now enjoy your bag lunch.
