When it comes to her gig as a solo artist, Gwen Stefani is making a sweet escape.

While the fashionable frontwoman stepped out on her own a few years back to release a couple of albums away from her No Doubt bandmates, the singer says she's no longer interested in going at it alone.

"That was a moment in time," Stefani tells Entertainment Weekly. "It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you're at in that time in your life ... [But] everything works out how it should."

Of course, the announcement doesn't come as a complete shock considering Stefani hasn't released anything since The Sweet Escape, her 2006 follow-up to her other solo effort, Love. Angel. Music.Baby.

Meanwhile, EW is hinting that Stefani and the other members of No Doubt will offer up some big "revelations" in its upcoming issue. A new album, perhaps? A tour, maybe?

Well, whatever it is, you know it's gonna be hella good.
