That's right. This Oscar nominee decided to keep it simple and just buy the house adjacent to the Pacific Palisades pad she currently calls home.
So which almost famous face just plopped down $5.3 million for this Country English-styled abode?

Built in 1935, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom home features a formal living room and two family rooms that open up to a garden, as well as a wine cellar, gym, pool and paneled library.
While there's no word yet on what Hudson, who is expecting a baby with her Muse man Matthew Bellamy, plans on doing now that she has two places side-by-side, we don't really blame her from not wanting to stray too far from her current residence.
After all, the home, which she purchased in 2003, was once owned by none other than Goldie Hawn—her own mom.
