Adele is bidding adieu to her tour.

The Grammy winner has been forced to scrap all the remaining dates on her North American trek due to a bad case of laryngitis, her label, Columbia Records, announced today.

Adele was initially diagnosed May 26 in Minneapolis, causing her to cancel a show scheduled there that evening.

While she did perform on Saturday in Denver, the return to the stage proved to be a bit premature, and the singer's Sunday night show in Salt Lake City had to be nixed at the last minute "when her illness worsened."

Earlier this week, the "Rolling in the Deep" songstress seemed hopeful for a quick recovering. Adele initially planned to postpone five dates and resume the tour Saturday in San Francisco.

But her condition failed to improve substantially. She consulted with a throat specialist, "who determined it was imperative that she take the next few weeks to recover with absolute voice rest," her label said. That led to her canceling the nine remaining shows on her sold-out tour. Her rep said that Adele hopes to make up the dates eventually.

"I'm really frustrated," she said in a statement. "I was hoping with a weeks rest I'd be better to sing again straight away. However, there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctor's advice and rest some more. I'm so sorry. See you soon, love Adele."
