Another grim day in the O'Neal household.

Just weeks after half-sister Tatum was busted for attempting to buy crack in New York, Redmond O'Neal has copped to possessing heroin and methamphetamine in Malibu.

The younger O'Neal, the 23-year-old son of Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett, pleaded guilty yesterday to two felony counts of possession and one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence, according to Jane Robison of the Los Angeles
County District Attorney's Office. Per the plea deal with prosecutors, a second DUI charge was tossed.

Malibu Superior Court Lawrence J. Mira sentenced O'Neal to three years' probation and ordered him to pay $1,688 in restitution and fines in connection with the misdemeanor charge.

O'Neal was ordered to remain in drug rehabilitation until July 9, when a court will decide if he is eligible for the state's drug-diversion program on the felony counts.

Redmond O'Neal, whose drug habit was at the center of a dicey skirmish between half-brother Griffin and father Ryan last year, was arrested Jan. 26 after getting caught speeding on the Pacific Coast Highway.
