WENN.com/AP PhotoWhile the entire Hilton clan celebrated the premiere of Paris and Kathy's new reality show The World According to Paris last night in at Tropicana Bar in Hollywood, one cast member was noticeably absent: Brooke Mueller.
As Paris celebrated her return to reality TV, a source tells us exclusively that Mueller skipped the shindig because "it's still not a good idea for her to be in a nightclub scene."
So where has the mama of two been since filming the Oxygen reality show, and what does she think of Ashton Kutcher replacing her ex Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men?
"Brooke has been bombarded and hiding from paparazzi since it was announced that Ashton was taking over for Charlie on the show," a Mueller pal tells us. "She didn't want to have to answer all those questions last night and she is staying out of the club scene."
So how does Brooke feel about the younger Kutcher replacing her former hubby on the lucrative CBS show?
"She doesn't care who replaced Charlie as long as the show didn't go off the air," the insider dishes. "She felt badly for everyone working on the show if they lost their jobs and she thinks Ashton will do a good job."
But while Brooke has been home spending quality time with her twin boys, her mother and stepfather attended the show premiere party in her place, and Kathy Hilton made it known that everyone was thinking of Brooke on the special day.
"Brooke, we r sorry u could not be with us tonight , we know your working on a bigger celebration your sobriety,we r very proud of u.XO," Mama Hilton tweeted. "Part 2 to brooke-We luv & support u all the way! Luv Kat"
As for the reality show, Brooke has been filming for the past few months with Kathy, Paris and other friends, the source tells us: "It may not portray her too well, but on the flipside, she is currently doing very well and looks great."
Brooke's struggle with sobriety is apparently a storyline covered in the show.
