In need of a vampire fix before Breaking Dawn gets here? Or are you simply longing for one that doesn't actually involve a bloodsucker who's so darn sparkly? Then look no further than Fright Night.

First of all, this is a, er, revamp of the horror-comedy that became an instant classic back in 1985, so right there it's off to a pretty good start. Secondly, it's got Colin Farrell playing the very menacing and thirsty individual at the heart of this flick about a teenager (Anton Yelchin) who discovers his neighbor isn't exactly the most, well, neighborly guy around. But mostly, there's...Colin Farrell.

Don't get us wrong. We love ourselves some Toni Collette, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse always brings a smile to our faces, but Farrell clearly steals the show here along with several jump-out-of-your-seat moments. Motorcycle through a car rear window, anyone?
