Is Queen Elizabeth II bringing back granny chic?

Well, it's doubtful anyone is copying her sunshine-yellow wedding ensemble—which, don't get us wrong, was adorable and appropriately matronly, natch—but word is, peeps are now clamoring for old-school handbag styles like the one her royal highness rocked at Prince William and Kate Middleton's nuptials...

Launer London—the classic British luxury handbag maker that created the boxy leather bag especially for the grandmother of the groom two years ago—has reportedly seen a 60 percent sales uptick of traditional-looking bags since the wedding, according to the U.K.'s Telegraph.

But it's not just the older ladies snapping up the arm candy, because "20 percent of the sales increase has been caused by stylish women in the 35-50 age bracket."

Fans of the purses, which retail for $600-$1,800, also include Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Dame Judi Dench.

Who's next, Kate or Pippa?
