Judge releases Hogan from going through with $4.2 million condo purchase agreed to prior to divorce

His wrestling days may be behind him, but Hulk Hogan can still manage to avoid getting pinned.

A Florida judge has released the pro wrestler from having to go through with the purchase of a $4.2 million Las Vegas condo, a property he agreed to buy with estranged wife Linda Bollea back in 2005, and a strong sticking point in their ongoing legal dealings, with Bollea just last month seeking to get her ex held in contempt of court and jailed for failing to pony up his share of the condo's cost.

As it is, Judge George Green ruled on Thursday that Hogan was no longer bound to the sale.

"We are thrilled that the judge did not require us to continue to engage in the folly of purchasing a $4.2 million condo at a time when we should be considering other matters," Hogan's attorney, David Houston, told E! News.

Houston added that in addition to his client getting off the real estate hook, a stipulation was agreed to outside of court whereby Hogan was also given the right to reside in a beach house which had previously been the sole reserve of Linda.

A deal was also made, Houston said, "to substantially reduce Hulk's required monthly payments to Linda."

"We believe the court injected a dose of reality into a contested litigation and feel that we have started down the road to resolution."

Just last month, Houston dubbed the Vegas condo a would-be "pleasure palace" for Linda and claimed that her insistence on going through with the purchase, in the wake of seemingly more critical matters, like her son's jailing, showed "that self-gratification remains her priority."

Linda Bollea's attorneys have yet to comment on yesterday's ruling.
