Was Lindsay Lohan Really Hiding in Her Closet From Dad Michael?

Lohan sets the record straight after reports flew that her father tried to see her at her home

Another day, another dramatic incident in the life of Lindsay Lohan.

Or was it?

Following reports that the Mean Girls star fled to her closet and hid after her father Michael Lohan tried to see her at her home, Lindsay set the record straight to E! News.

As it turns out, Lindsay says she wasn't at her Venice apartment (much less inside her closet).

"I'm fine," Lohan told E! News. "I wasn't even home so its funny how I was in my closet."

Never one to miss an opportunity to issue a statement to the press, Michael also released a statement to E! News on the supposed incident, calling the report "a hurtful lie" and saying he's glad that Lindsay stuck up for him.

Guess he's reading between the lines on that one.
