Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans claims the whole thing was a set-up. Maybe, maybe not. But whatever the motive, the girl who triggered the scary smackdown is facing some serious comeuppance.
For the second time this week, Brittany Maggard has been arrested for the brutal brawl.
What the heck did she do now?
Maggard, along with Evans and punching bag Britany Truett were all arrested on Sunday for their respective roles in the fight. Maggard, who bragged to E! News about instigating the crazy catfight with a shove, was charged with a single count of simple assault.
But Maggard, 18, was already on probation in a separate 2010 assault case in her native North Carolina. She was placed on 18-month probation beginning last August and was required to obey all laws and sparking a beatdown is a big no-no. So once authorities saw that she had added to her rap sheet, she was hauled in.
"Our officers arrested her yesterday afternoon for a probation violation," a spokesman for the North Carolina Department of Corrections tells E! News.
After spending the night behind bars, Maggard was out this morning after posting $5,000 bail.
