There's a fine line between fame and infamy and if Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans hadn't already crossed it, then she did last week the second her fist brutally and repeatedly connected to the face of another girl. On camera.

While the girl on the receiving end of her horrifying pummeling initially said she wasn't planning on pressing charges against Evans, the police in Oak Island, N.C., nevertheless issued a warrant for the reality star's arrest after viewing the video in which Evans viciously attacked the girl while her friends cheered her on.

Classy bunch.

On Friday, Brunswick County District Attorney John David told E! News that it didn't matter if the victim, Brittany Truett, initiated the pressing of charges, as, thanks to the disturbing evidence, her cooperation (or lack thereof) wouldn't affect his investigation.

Clearly he's a man of his word. According to the police report obtained by E! News, 19-year-old Evans was ultimately booked on two misdemeanors, assault and affray, for fighting at Brunswick County Jail, and was released around midnight after posting $500 bond.

"She bonded out late last night and at this time she does not have any comment," Evans' attorney Dustin Sullivan told E! News.

As for rumors that Evans was set up or somehow antagonized into the on-camera brawl, Sullivan said "our office is trying to investigate" those reports.

Incidentally, Truett was also arrested and charged with simple affray, and another 18-year-old, Brittany Nichole Maggard, was charged with simple assault.

Evans is due back in court April 26 to answer the charges, which means that next month is shaping up to be pretty busy for her. She's already due to appear in court on April 14 for a hearing on drug charges and breaking and entering, and again on April 29 when she'll have to answer to yet more counts of breaking and entering, injury to real property, trespassing and making harassing phone calls in separate cases.

And proving that you're only as good as the company you keep, Jenelle's slacker beau Kieffer Delp—the affections of whom, incidentally, reportedly sparked the vicious attack—was also arrested over the weekend.

Turns out, cops had long wanted him on a cocaine charge stemming from sometime last year and when they turned up to cuff Evans, found him at her home and carted him off, as well. He was charged with possession of cocaine and was given a $5,000 bond.

Does MTV know how to pick 'em, or what?
