GMA cohost Robin Roberts told viewers on this morning's program that she and the show's producers would "love to have him back"—and the "Look At Me Now" singer is "seriously considering that."
Lets hope their insurance is up to date on the dressing room.
"We extended the invitation to him and we sure hope he takes us up on it, because we'd love to have another chat with him," she said.
This after Mr. Anger Management allegedly launched into a profanity-laced tirade backstage, tore off his T-shirt, tossed some furniture around and broke a window after the co-anchor quizzed him on live TV about his attack two years ago on Rihanna.
No word yet from Brown's camp whether he'll accept GMA's offer to return.
Of course, having paid his dues for the most part in the domestic violence case (he's completed counseling and community service but is on five years' probation), the reformed entertainer would just love everybody to move on.
By yesterday afternoon, Brown seemed to be doing just that, taking in an exhibit at Manhattan's Opera Gallery, shooting some hoops with his crew down in the Village, and turning up last night at Webster Hall to perform (shirtless natch) at a release party for his new album, F.A.M.E., which dropped last week.
