ABCIt was enough to make us yell "Up your nose with a rubber hose" when we initally heard the news that neither Gabe Kaplan or Robert Hegyes were scheduled to attend next month's Welcome Back, Kotter reunion.
Fortunately, we just received word that both Mr. Kotter and Sweathog Juan Epstein will now be joining John Travolta and the rest of the cast when the hit '70s sitcom is honored at the upcoming TV Land Awards in NYC.
But they're not the only beloved boob tube icons from our youth who are coming together...
The cast of The Facts of Life will also be on hand during the April 10 ceremony (airing on TV Land April 17)!
Yep, according to a press release, Mindy Cohn, Kim Fields, Nancy McKeon, Lisa Whelchel and Mrs. Garrett herself, Charlotte Rae, will reunite for the first time in over 20 years to accept the Pop Culture Award on behalf of the Diff'rent Strokes spin-off that ran from 1979-1988.
Of course, what would have made this announcement even better is if former (albeit brief) castmembers Molly Ringwald and George Clooney had also signed on to take the stage.
Oh well, that's life. Or in this case...well, you know.
