Tyra Banks is taking her education very seriously.

Not only is America's Next Top Model mastermind attending Harvard Business School, she's living with roomies on campus while attending the institution!

"It's mandatory dorms. I freaked out at the beginning...and now I wouldn't have it any other way," Tyra told Jimmy Fallon on Late Night.

But it's not exactly like the onetime model is dining on Ramen noodles and decorating her room with Justin Bieber posters. Banks described her decorating scheme as fake orchids, scented oil diffusers and Japanese lamps.

Still, why would the successful model-actress-media mogul-entrepreneur even need to attend college?

"In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best," she told CBS News.

"I think I could've leaned on all of my advisers. I have accountants, and lawyers, and investment bankers. But I don't want to be that girl when I'm meeting with them, where I'm like, 'Uh-huh, great.' I now can say what's the net present value on that? What's the discounted cash flows of that? And that's because of Harvard."

So for now, Banks pays $31,000 a year in tuition to attend Harvard's Owner/President Management Program, which conveniently only requires a commitment of three weeks on campus a year for three years.

That leaves her plenty of time to keep building her empire. Her talk show may have just ended, but America's Next Top Model—in its 15th season—is still going strong, and her novel, Modelland, is coming out in September. Plus, the latest venture to roll out of Tyra Banks H.Q. launched this week, a personalized fashion and beauty website called TypeF.

And up next? Bed-in-a-bag designs by Tyra Banks, perhaps?
