Oh snap!

Ciara wants Joan Rivers to know she owned her Grammys look—an Emilio Pucci frock and Givenchy sandals—and even paid a visit to the Fashion Police set to defend her dress.

"I got to hear some of what you guys said," scolded the singer, who said the dress "was fun, I felt good walking in it." And off camera explained, "You know you got to be a rock star at the Grammy's. So, I went for it and I was bold."

Joan's defense? "So much of it [what you hear] is rumor," she joked before praising Ciara's NBA All-Star weekend outfit. Except for the boots, "because you can't outrun a rapist in them."

And not knowing when to quit is why they pay her the big bucks, folks.
