Maybe Client No. 9 could use a new gig?
That's because former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer is all by his lonesome now after TV partner Kathleen Parker bailed from their low-rated CNN prime-time show, Parker/Spitzer.
Why'd she leave?
The cable news net confirmed the news Friday, saying the conservative syndicated columnist wanted to get back to her political column (instead of putting up with her more aggressive liberal counterpart).
Parker/Spitzer debuted last Oct. 4 drawing scathing reviews from TV critics and a tepid audience. Starting Monday, Spitzer will helm a revamped show, retitled In the Arena, that will include various newsmakers, guests and contributors.
