Oh, how we wish we'd been in one of those bars back when Channing Tatum was paying the bills as a stripper.
"I'm not ashamed of it," the actor says in the new issue of GQ, out on Feb. 22. "I don't regret one thing. I'm not a person who hides s—t."
Fortunately, though, he's still showing off his sculpted physique...
Mr. Tatum goes shirtless in the magazine. In one shot, he's hanging in a doorway with a beer in hand. In another, it's a profile shot in a window frame with—you got it—a beer in hand.
He says he embraces his beefcake-ness. ""No one's calling me for lawyer roles," says Tatum, who stars in the new Roman period action flick, The Eagle, with Jamie Bell. "I still have a lot to prove to myself."
Let's hope he never proves himself too much. We really don't want him to stop taking off his shirt.
