It ain't happening.

Taking to Twitter today to answer dozens of fan questions, Britney Spears took the opportunity to clear the air about whether we will see her at the Grammys this weekend.

Take it away, Brit...

"Will you YOURSELF give us an answer about the Grammy rumor?" asked Spears fan @themrspears. "I won't be there and was never planning on going," she tweeted back.

Another fan asked when we could expect to see Britney perform again and start promoting the new album. "I'm doing a lot of promo. There will be some major announcements in the next few days," she replied.

Britney's video for the lead single "Hold It Against Me" off her new Femme Fatale album will premiere next Thursday on MTV before Jersey Shore. Femme Fatale will drop March 29.

Although Britney isn't going Grammy, we learned a few other people will be in the house Staples Center.

Eva Longoria announced via Twitter this morning that she will be introducing the Justin Bieber- Usher combo.

"Just found out that i'm presenting @justinbieber and @usherRaymondIV performance at @thegrammys on Sunday! i'm so excited!"

Meanwhile, show producers announced a new batch of performers, including Bob Dylan playing with the Grammy-nominated Mumford & Sons and the Avett Brothers, and Dr. Dre, making his first live TV performance in more than a decade, dueting with Eminem.

Who needs Britney?
