Charlie Sheen's best buddy denied the Two and a Half Men star went on a 36-hour bender. But let's go to the tape, shall we?

In a 911 recording released today by the Los Angeles Fire Department, a caller identifying himself as Beverly Hills physician Dr. Paul Nassif (aka the husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof) tells the dispatcher that he had received a call from Sheen's mansion asking for medical assistance.

Things, the doc says, got "kinda weird." Ya think?

Nassif tells the dispatcher that a secretary calling on Charlie's behalf asked Nassif not to call for an ambulance. That's when, he says, Sheen got on the line and talked to him, and by the physician's account, he sounded like he was suffering not only from intense pain but also was under the influence.

Consequently, the doctor gives the dispatcher Sheen's address and lets EMS have at him.

The thespian, as we all know by now, was rushed to the emergency room nearly a week ago complaining of abdominal pain. The pain, per his rep, was supposedly from an ongoing hernia problem. But, just a day after being released from the hospital, Sheen started rehab.

The night before the hospital trip, Sheen reportedly partied with a bevy of porn stars, one of whom, Kacey Jordan, told E! News that she witnessed him binge drinking and smoking cocaine. That was before she had three-minute sex with him and received a $35,000 check for her services the heck of it.

So what do you think? Did Charlie sound wasted on the phone to you? Sound off in comments.
