It's the Kelsey Grammer-Camille Grammer Interview Face-Off!

Estranged spouses are both on TV on the same night, with Camille giving a Housewives postmortem and Kelsey settling in for an evasive chat on Letterman

Unfortunately for Camille Grammer, Kelsey Grammer's first TV interview since his ex hit the damage control circuit isn't going to dispel the "he's classier than she is" argument.

Not that he subjected himself to a Howard Stern Show probe, but David Letterman is known for tossing the occasional hard ball these days...

"I'm under the impression that your marriage is acting. Is that a fact?" Dave asked, the picture of innocence. "Well, I'm sorry to hear that—or I'm not sorry to hear that?"

"Well, you are respectfully considerate, and yet pleased for the new develoments in my life," Kelsey replied in an end-of-story tone.

"Well, it's a difficult time, regardless," Dave added, "always regardless of circumstances, and especially with kids.  Are the kids and everybody all right now?"

"The kids seem to be doing okay, yeah," the actor said.  "We've been spending quite a bit of time with them, Kayte and I.  Kayte's my new girl, and we're planning to get married soon...sometime in February."

In fact, there they all were in the green room at The Late Show, which showed them waving at the camera when Kelsey's interview was over. (So apparently he does have a few low blows left in him.)

You can bet Camille just loved that.

The biggest headline grabber on the inaugural season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsthe episode on which Camille gets the much hyped "our marriage is over" call from her husband of 13 years aired tonight—has certainly been making the interview rounds herself this week.

The further disparagement of Kelsey Grammer's character is usually the result of those little chats. And tonight's Watch What Happens postmortem, following the Housewives episode, was no different.

"Oooh, he uses them as props," she seethed when host Andy Cohen mentioned that Kelsey brought their kids and his fiancée to The Late Show.

After recounting what occurred on tonight's Housewives, Cohen then brought up Camille's chat with Howard Stern, in which she implied her ex is a cross-dresser and didn't bother disputing Howard's perception of the Frasier star as "a total freak."

"I was really just trying to be funny," Camille admitted, adding that they "tried" to have sex during the waning days of their marriage, but it was a no-go.

She also admitted to "maybe" having smaller breasts in 1995 when she was a dancer on the Bat Mitzvah circuit, and said she was open to the possibility of letting Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger fix her up.

But unlike Kelsey, she may want to wait until the ink is dry on her divorce before she rushes into anything.
