Who in their right mind would marry an Azkaban escapee?

Well, perhaps it helps that this thespian is even better known among Muggles for starring in one of the U.K.'s most enduring sci-fi series. But as a Death Eater, the loon was out for Harry Potter's blood.

So which one of Voldemort's minions managed to attract a rather stunning mate in the off-season?

That would be David Tennant, who as the plum loco Barty Crouch Jr. spent most of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire impersonating Mad-Eye Moody (Brendan Gleeson) before being revealed for the patricidal, Polyjuice Potion-quaffing villain he really was.

Tennant is perhaps best known, however, for playing the 10th incarnation of the titular time-traveler in the venerable Doctor Who until last year. And, according to Britain's Daily Mail, he recently got engaged to Georgia Moffett—whose father, Peter Davison, was the fifth Doctor Who back in the 1980s.

Tennant, 39, and Moffett, 26, met when she guest-starred on the show as his daughter Jenny in 2008.

That wedding party's going to be a regular who's who of characters, isn't it?

A rep for Tennant declined comment.
