UPDATE (Jan. 4, 2011): Whoops! Real Estalker got its addresses crossed yesterday, meaning the home purchased by Barrymore's trust is the 2-acre Montecito spread pictured above. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom manse was originally on the market for $6.9 million and was purchased for $5,705,000.

The two residences actually share quite a few amenities, only this one has a master suite that opens onto a private garden, rather than a sleeping porch. Pfft.

There is apparently still room for more famous people in Montecito, Calif.

The luxurious coastal community, about 90 minutes from Los Angeles, is already home to Oprah Winfrey (her 40-acre spread is only a part-time pleasure palace, actually) Rob Lowe, Jeff Bridges, John Cleese, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and, more recently, George Lucas and Al Gore.

And now there's another bold-faced name calling Montecito home now that she has gone the distance and purchased an 11,026-square-foot mansion for $6.9 million, according to The Real Estalker.

Quite the aerie for a cinematic angel, don't ya think?

The new homeowner is none other than SoCal native Drew Barrymore, who's snatched up a very sexy living space just a relative stone's throw from Hollywood.

The impressive gated estate boasts six bedrooms, including two master suites that share an outdoor sleeping porch for enjoying those ocean breezes, five bathrooms, three half-baths (you can't bathe in those, sigh...), five wood-burning fireplaces, a banquet hall-sized dining room that overlooks a 40-foot-long reflecting pool (not to be confused with the actual swimming pool), an office/library, a six-car garage, roomy staff quarters and a number of windy staircases that lead to turrets, secret wet bars and all sorts of fun nooks and crannies.

We wish Drew the best in her new home. Pray she doesn't get lost!
