Bret Michaels has finally found his one true rock of love.

The bandana-wearing Poison singer surprised his longtime girlfriend of 16 years, Kristi Gibson, by popping the question on their anniversary during Monday's finale of his VH1 reality show, Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It.

Don't need nothin' but nuptials now.

The 47-year-old Michaels met the 39-year-old Gibson, a sometimes actress, back in 1994 and they've been on and off ever since.

So during last night's episode, the rocker finally decided to make it official: he got down on bended knee in front of his and Gibson's two daughters, 10-year-old Raine and 5-year-old Jorja, and professed his everlasting devotion.

"I love you, and you've been unbelievably a big part of my life, and we have two beautiful girls together," said Bret. "I know we love and respect each other, and I hope that we can find that inner love that we have forever. And I want you to be my wife."

Such a smoothie.

"Just say yes, because rejection will kill me right now," Michaels said as she kept him hanging.

In the end, a beaming Gibson did accept his proposal, extending her finger to receive a ring the "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" crooner had at the ready.

Gibson has stood by her man through the good times and the bad. She was there for him when he underwent emergency surgery to treat a brain hemorrhage earlier this year as well as a heart operation.

Most recently Gibson weathered unfounded rumors the Poison frontman had been having an affair with Miley Cyrus' mom, Tish, supposedly prompting the breakup of her marriage to Billy Ray Cyrus.

We hope their reality series will last a lifetime.
