The pressure's on over at Top Chef—and not just because the Bravo ratings burden falls to the culinary kids in the wake of Project Runway's network switcheroo.

The cable net has announced the first round of nationwide open casting calls for the fifth season of the Padma Lakshmi- and Tom Colicchio-hosted cooking hit, with auditions taking place in San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles beginning today.
