Flick about the founding of Facebook picks up steam as an early Oscar favorite by being honored as one of the top 10 movies of the year by the American Film Institute

Will The Social Network soon be calling Oscar friend?

It's certainly starting to look that way as the flick about Facebook nabbed yet another honor by being named one of the American Film Institute's Top 10 Movies of the Year.

The AFI, however, doesn't limit its annual award-giving to stuff on the big screen, but also recognizes what's piped directly into our living rooms (Hi, Glee! What's up, Mad Men?) as well…
