Hey, America: today is the one-year anniversary of the day MTV sought to better the lives of our nation's youth by airing the premiere episode of Jersey Shore.
And we already know how at least one cast member is celebrating: no, not by chugging some Ron Ron juice, but by dodging her ex's money-seeking lawsuit.
Well, that's one surefire way to deflate a fist-pump. Here's the deal…
The cast member at the center of the legal drama is Jenni "JWoww" Farley.
Unfortunately, her ex-boyfriend told E! News he plans to file suit against the reality starlet in an attempt to reap $350,000, a sum he came to after tallying up his unpaid managerial services over the past year. Her beau, as it turns out, was also her manager.
"We broke up in August after Radar sent me photos of her cheating on me," Tom Lippolis told E! News exclusively. "After that I wrote her a text message saying, 'I know we parted ways but can you send me the money for the deals I made you?'
"For a lack of a better word, she basically wrote back, 'Go f--k yourself.'"
And this is surprising because…?
Regardless, Lippolis came to the six-figure asking price after tallying up his would-be commission on the $17,500-per-episode payday JWoww took home this year, as well as his part in a deal she made with Australian Gold tanning lotions (she's putting the "T" in "GTL") worth $52,000.
He also says he has proof of his owed funds, in the form of emails between himself and MTV proving his entitlement.
"She thinks she's invincible," he said. "She's going to find out real quickly that she's not."
Sounds like someone's been drinking the haterade.
