It looks like Michael Lohan's confidence in his daughter even extends to the ballroom floor.

That is, if recent speculation of Lindsay being offered to appear on Dancing With the Stars ever actually becomes a reality. (Something judge Carrie Ann Inaba and a couple of the professional hoofers are totally up for.)

"In my mind, she would win," Lindsay's estranged father tells E! News during a sit-down interview.

"My daughter is on the top of her game. She has turned her life around. I'm proud of her."

Of course, the possibility of someday seeing his girl hoisting up that mirror-ball trophy wouldn't come until at least after she completes her court-ordered stint at the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage.

Michael says he expects ex-wife Dina and their other children to come out to California from Long Island for the holidays to be with Lindsay, who is not allowed to travel out of the statement until Jan. 3. (Asked if he and Dina, whose relationship has thawed in recent weeks, might ever get back together, Michael dropped this bombshell: "You can never rule anything out.")

But for now his focus on his own his daughter.

When asked if he's concerned that Lindsay could potentially relapse, Michael says you fight the fight every day.

"That is your life when you are an addict," he points out. "You never know."

Yet, despite that ever-present risk, Michael is nevertheless optimistic.

"I'm proud of my daughter," he says while talking about the new program she's in. "I got what I wanted. I got my daughter back."
