Sarah Jessica Parker and family are leaving the West Village behind and headed uptown.

The actress, hubby Matthew Broderick and their brood, James Wilkie, 8, and twins Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick, 1, are likely moving into some new upper West Side digs, with a view of Central Park and some very famous neighbors.

Who will she be greeting in her posh new lobby?

The family is eyeing a star-stocked building at the glitzy 88 Central Park West—counting SNL creator Lorne Michaels as a neighbor. Sting and Trudie Styler raised their kids there, in an apartment even sold to them by Billy Joel.

The building is called the Bratmore, and is a co-op with 48 apartments spread out over 12 floors.  It has a doorman and a concierge—a big change from SJP's gorgeous downtown brownstone, where she is often snapped sweeping her stoop or walking her son to school.

The couple are said to be buying the 10th floor pad from philanthropist Laurie Tisch, at a reported $21 million.

"There are good schools for kids in that neighborhood," New York Post real estate columnist Jennifer Gould Keil tells E! News. "However the apartment has a weird, funky layout. The upstairs is a long, rambling L-shape. It's not perfect but there's nothing else on the market this big on Central Park West. It's not a done deal, she may still look at other stuff."

SJP has also looked downtown at the modern 54 Bond Street and also on the Upper East Side.
