See? Some celebrities really do use their powers for good.

Take Anne Hathaway and Denzel Washington, who will represent Hollywood when they cohost the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo Dec. 11.

But if you're trying to find a cohesive theme among the concert's performers, well, stop now…

The rather disparate musical stylings of Florence + the Machine, India.Arie, Elvis Costello, Robyn, Jamiroquai, Colbie Caillat, Barry Manilow (shout-out to the fanilows!) and pianist Herbie Hancock will comprise the international set list for the night, which takes place the day after the Nobel prize is handed out.

Incidentally, the night will all be in honor of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Liu Xiaobo, the dissident writer and human rights activist who won't actually make the festivities as he's currently just one year into an 11-year prison sentence in his native China for "inciting subversion" after calling for democracy and human rights.

Talk about bittersweet.
