Mount Kanye Erupts (Again) Over "Very Brutal" Today Show Appearance

West launches his second Twitter rant in as many days after a less than pleasant sit-down with Matt Lauer & Co.

We never thought we'd say this, but Kanye West could really learn a thing or two from John Mayer. Or, for that matter, Miley Cyrus. At least when it comes to his tweeting habits.

You see, yesterday Kanye sat down with Matt Lauer ostensibly to apologize to George W. Bush for labeling him a racist. Today, a portion of the interview was played, Bush accepted the apology, and the public was promised the full sit-down with West and all his soundbite glory tomorrow morning.

Great, right? No problems, right? Wrong.

Kanye decided to pull a Tom Cruise via Twitter earlier today, lashing out at Lauer and the whole glib setup over there at the Today show.

While he's currently en route to Abu Dhabi, he saw fit prior to taking off to tell his followers just "how they did me at the Today show."

"I went up there to express how I was empathetic to Bush because I labeled him a racist and years later I got labeled as a racist," he began. "While I was trying to give the interview they started playing the 'MTV' under with me with audio!!!!!!!!"

The "MTV," just to be clear, was his Taylor Swift-interrupting VMA appearance.

"I don't mess with Matt Lauer or the Today Show…and that's a very nice way for me to put it!" West went on, before launching into his signature caps lock style. Everyone ready?

"HE TRIED TO FORCE MY ANSWERS. IT WAS VERY BRUTAL AND I CAME THERE WITH ONLY POSITIVE INTENT.

"I felt very alone very used very tortured very forced very misunderstood very hollow very very misused. I don't trust anybody but myself! Everyone has an agenda. I don't do press anymore. I can't be everything to everybody anymore. I can't be everybody's hero and villain savior and sinner Christian and anti Christ!"

He also can't bear to listen to any more advice from well-meaning (and we have to assume better-knowing) people.

"Everything sounds like noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING SOUNDS LIKE NOISE!!!!!!!! I don't trust anyone!" he wrote. "Very judged very scrutinized very criticized!"

Eventually, West managed to get off his favorite subject (himself) and back onto the topic at hand.

"Yo I really wonder if Matt Lauer thought that s--t was cool to play the 'MTV' clip while I was speaking about Bush? He played clips of Bush and asked met to look at his face while I was trying to talk to him."

Yeah. Isn't it just so annoying when you get interrupted like that?

"I wish Michael Jackson had twitter!!!!!!!" West wrote. "Maybe Mike could have explained how the media tried to set him up!!! It's all a f--king set up!!!

"This is rock and roll life my people…you can't stop the truth you can't stop the music and I have to be strong or 'they' win!!!!"

Oh, Kanye. We stopped keeping score ages ago.
