Crystal Bowersox is definitely closing out her year on a high note.

As if tying the knot last month weren't enough of an event to make 2010 memorable, the American Idol runner-up will be releasing her debut album, Farmer's Daughter, on Dec. 14.

Understandably, Crystal couldn't contain her excitement and took to Twitter to answer some all-important questions, like, who is that cute canine sitting with her on the cover?!

"The dog's name was Angel," she tweeted, only to reveal later that "the pitbull was the landowners dog. She jumped up there with me and we were just chillin.'"

Meanwhile, the disc itself will contain 12 tracks, including a tune written by former A.I. judge Kara DioGuardi and Nickelback's Chad Kroeger, a cover of Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" and a song titled "Mason," which Crystal penned with her new hubby Brian Walker.
