If Kanye West Is on Your Flight, Who Needs SkyMall?

Performer rapped a few lines over the loudspeaker on a flight from Minneapolis to NYC

Kanye West loves to fly, and it shows.

West, who recently lamented how many people are out there whose voices are not heard, made sure that his voice was heard Friday while on a Delta flight from Minneapolis to New York City.

Now, we ain't sayin' he's an attention hog, but...

A witness told Hollywood Life that West was sitting in first class and then, about 30 minutes into the flight, gave an impromptu miniconcert over the plane's loudspeaker, rapping a few lines apiece of "The Good Life" and "Gold Digger."

We wish we could say he then assisted with the beverage service, but we suppose filing off the plane along with his fellow passengers, instead of being whisked away by his handlers, will have to do in the down-to-earth department.

Ironically, West also surprised the audience Sunday at the MTV Europe Music Awards by jumping onstage with 30 Seconds to Mars for a "Power"-"Hurricane" mashup. (Don't worry, the band knew he was coming.)

"This wasn't even last-minute, more like last-second," Jared Leto told MTV News. "Literally a day and a half ago, he was in New York and he got on, literally, the last flight, he made it out here."
