Confirm or Deny? Ashlee to Face Media

Ashlee Simpson has a lot on her plate these days. She just got engaged to Pete Wentz. And now there are rumors she's pregnant. And on top of all that, she has a new album to promote.

So it's no wonder she may be thinking about her next vacation. And what better way to get things rolling than by attending Thursday night’s Condé Nast Traveler Hot List party at New York’s Mansion nightclub.

I'm told Simpson is supposed to be at the Traveler bash, but I'm sure she'll try to avoid pregnancy questions by skipping the red-carpet interviews—even though Wentz just denied the baby news to MTV News.

Still, all eyes will be on Simpson and they'll be looking for signs, like sipping water instead of booze.

But before she gets there, Simpson will do a round of media to promote the new album, Bittersweet World. However, her reps says, "We are going to do a canned [pretaped] interview."

So now the pregnancy confirmation or denial comes down to Friday, when Simpson's promotional tour kicks into high gear with a performance on the Today show...or any time over the next couple of weeks, as she's scheduled to appear on Ellen, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel and TRL.

Seems like there's no escaping the baby question for Jessica's little sis.
